What it is

Physiotherapy treats the cause, not the symptom.

Physiotherapy is the foundation of everything we do at our HSR Layout clinic. A registered physiotherapist screens how you move, finds the real source of your pain, and treats it with a blend of hands-on manual therapy and precise exercise prescription. The goal is never just short-term relief — it is a body that works well long after you have been discharged.

Where a passive approach chases the painful spot, we look up and down the kinetic chain to understand why it hurts. That is why physiotherapy sits at the centre of every treatment plan we build — from a desk-worker’s stiff neck to an athlete’s return to sport.

Common questions

Your questions, answered.

Want to know if this service is right for you? Call the HSR Layout clinic or book an assessment — we'll give you a straight answer.

Ask us directly
Your first visit is a 60-minute assessment — we take your history, screen how you move, diagnose the cause of your pain, and usually begin hands-on treatment the same day. You leave with a clear plan, timeline and cost.
No — you can book directly with us. If your condition needs medical input or imaging, we will tell you and help coordinate it, but most people come straight to us.
It depends on the condition, but many programmes run 4–10 weeks of weekly sessions. We give an honest estimate at your assessment and re-test progress, so you never pay for sessions you do not need.
Treatment should be comfortable and productive, not painful. Some hands-on techniques create a brief ache as tissue releases, but we always work within what is right for you.
We accept insurance and can provide the documentation you need to claim. Bring your details to your first visit and we will help you sort it out.
All our physiotherapists are registered clinicians with recognised physiotherapy degrees, plus additional certifications in techniques like dry needling and specific manual therapy methods. We are happy to share specific clinician backgrounds if that matters to you.
Yes — continuity matters for a good outcome, and we will keep you with the same clinician throughout your programme wherever possible, barring genuine scheduling conflicts.
Comfortable, loose clothing that lets us see and access the area we're assessing — shorts for a knee or hip issue, for example. We will tell you if anything specific helps for your particular appointment.
